Kerados is a software product operated by Yehonatan Shiran ("Kerados," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the Kerados desktop application ("Software") or accessing this website ("Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Software or Site.
When released, use of the Kerados desktop application will be governed by an End User License Agreement ("EULA") provided with the Software. These Terms govern your use of this website and will supplement the EULA. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the EULA regarding the desktop application, the EULA shall prevail.
Kerados is currently in a pre-release "coming soon" phase. The Software is not yet available for download or purchase. When released, Kerados will be offered under a perpetual license model, with terms and pricing as described on this Site at the time of purchase. A separate EULA will accompany the Software. All pre-release information, including features, pricing, and licensing terms, is subject to change without notice.
Kerados is not yet available for purchase. When purchasing opens, Kerados will offer a 14-day refund window from the date of purchase. Within this window, you may request a full refund for any reason by contacting contact@kerados.com or by requesting a refund through Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. Refunds requested after the 14-day window will be considered at our discretion. All refunds are processed through Lemon Squeezy in accordance with their Buyer Terms. Your statutory consumer rights under applicable law (including the EU right of withdrawal, where applicable) are not affected by this policy.
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS-IS" AND MAY CONTAIN BUGS, ERRORS, AND INCOMPLETE FEATURES. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT:
The Kerados desktop application processes all data locally on your device. No video, image, audio, or personal data is transmitted to Kerados servers or any third party. You retain full ownership and control of your data at all times.
All content, trademarks, and intellectual property associated with Kerados, the Software, and this Site are owned by Kerados. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute them without written permission.
The Software incorporates third-party open-source components, including but not limited to FFmpeg, OpenCLIP, PySide6, and various Python libraries. These components are used under their respective licenses, which are listed in the THIRDPARTY.txt file included with the Software.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KERADOS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE OR SITE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DATA LOSS, SYSTEM CRASHES, OR INTERRUPTION OF BUSINESS.
You agree to indemnify and hold Kerados harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Software.
Kerados reserves the right to modify these Terms or revoke your license at any time without prior notice. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and destroy all copies in your possession.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
For users residing in Israel: Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel.
For users residing in the EU, EEA, or United Kingdom: Consumer claims may be brought in the courts of your country of residence, as required by applicable consumer protection law. Commercial disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel. The European Commission's ODR platform was discontinued in July 2025. A list of consumer dispute resolution entities in EU Member States is available at https://consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu/dispute-resolution-bodies.
For all other users: Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel. Before initiating any litigation, the parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of written notice of the dispute.
The Kerados Software uses artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to provide its core functionality, including but not limited to:
AI-generated results may not be 100% accurate. The Software's analysis, classifications, and search results are provided on a best-effort basis and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for critical decisions. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of any results produced by the Software.
The Software performs intensive AI computations that place significant demands on your hardware, particularly your GPU and CPU. Sustained use may result in elevated temperatures, increased power consumption, and accelerated hardware wear. You acknowledge that Kerados is not responsible for any hardware damage or degradation resulting from running the Software. Hardware requirements and recommendations will be detailed in the EULA provided at release.

Kerados reserves the right to restrict or terminate access to the Software in any jurisdiction as required by law.
The Software is intended for civilian use only. You may not use the Software for any military, intelligence, surveillance, or weapons-related purposes.
Kerados may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Software or Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
